Flexible PVC Tubing
Grayline extrudes a wide variety of flexible polyvinyl chloride tubing. Flexible
PVC offers the best performance to cost ratio for many tubing applications. It is
inherently flame retardant, electrically insulating, and suitable for a wide range
of environmental conditions. At Grayline, over twenty flexible PVC compounds are
stocked and ready to be extruded to the customer's dimensional requirements. In
addition to these compounds, we work closely with our compound suppliers to engineer
custom formulations optimized for specific applications. Flexible PVC can be
supplied in many colors from crystal clear to bright white to black. Dozens
of pigments are available from stock, but custom color matching is also available.
For electrical insulating sleeving, Grayline can offer tubing that has been
tested and approved for use in appliance, automotive, and various other electronic
applications. Approvals include those of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and
the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). In wire harness applications, the
tubing typically serves as a flexible conduit to bundle and protect the wire
harness. Although Grayline is an established leader in supplying wire harness
sleeves, tubing is also available for a variety of other applications such as
protective sheaths, fluid transfer lines, aesthetic covers, and mechanical
bumpers or spacers.
