Grayline FEP-COR tubing is made from a semi-rigid, natural color, FDA-approved fluoropolymer resin. It offers the same chemical and electrical properties of straight walled FEP tubing. The cuffs (straight ends) are made to accept standard barbed fittings and may be flared or expanded to permit shrink-tight connections. It can also be extended or compressed without affecting the tube I.D.
Grayline FEP-COR is manufactured in an industrial atmosphere, so sterilization is recommended for clean-flow applications. Because of the annular corrugations, it may not be possible to remove all traces of particulate from the tubing. For best cleaning results, the tube should be stretched to its maximum length and held vertically (direction of flow: down). FEP-COR is also available with Kevlar® overbraiding (Sizes 1/4”-7/8”). This will permit a minimum increase of six times the listed pressures.
