Grayline PTFE-AWG tubing is made from a semi-rigid, high temperature, fluoropolymer resin that offers outstanding chemical and temperature resistance. Coupled with that, it also has a low coefficient of friction which makes it an ideal candidate on primary conductors as protection from chemical contact or temperature extremes.
Grayline PTFE-AWG tubing resists melt-off by soldering irons when making electrical terminations. It is also non-aging, so brittleness is not a concern. This material offers outstanding thermal properties and can be exposed to a wide operating temperature range from cryogenic temperatures up to 260°C.
