Product Description:
Grayline PTFE-HOSE is constructed of extruded virgin PTFE material with series 300 stainless steel wire braid reinforcement. The core is inert and offers long flexural life, low permeability, non-flammability, and the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material. This non-stick surface is easily cleaned by autoclaving, steam, or detergent. The overbraid permits higher pressure and reduces the possibility of kinking. The white core is made using non-toxic ingredients that conform to FDA standards and does not impart taste or odor, or contaminate the fluid stream. The black core is electrically conductive to release or eliminate static charge. It is well suited for applications involving high resistivity fluids or gases at high velocity. Flush cleaning of the hose to eliminate manufacturing residue is recommended prior to use.
